Mila Lucas

Mila is eight years old and will be starting third grade at Westend Elementary School in Meadville, PA. Her favorite subject in school is Art class because she loves using her imagination to create her own masterpieces. Art inspired her to start her own platform “Crafting Memories with Mila.” She loves using her platform in nursing homes to bring smiles to Residents faces through arts and crafts. Mila is excited to start her journey with US American Miss because it gives her the chance to give back to her community and make a difference. She is also looking forward to making memories with her new pageant sisters. Mila is a three-time recipient of the Gold Presidential Service Award and loves to show people that you are never too young to make a difference. When not volunteering, you will find Mila in the gym preparing for her upcoming gymnastic competitions, in the dance studio or fishing with her dad and younger brother. When she grows up she hopes to see herself on the big screen one day as an actress or a singer. Mila hopes she can be a role model to other girls her age and show them through example that just because you are little doesn't mean you can’t move mountains. Always remember “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

Meecah is 12 years old and will be entering 7th grade in the fall. She loves being involved with her school, her extra-curricular activities, and her community. Meecah is a competitive dancer, gymnast, and cheerleader. For the past two years, she has served on her school’s student council as an officer. As a straight A student, she is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. She is a National Advisory Committee member of PJ Our Way and currently has a video blog featured on their national website. Meecah loves helping others by volunteering in her community with the Junior Optimists Club and is a recipient of the Gold level Presidential Award for Service. But her greatest passion is her commitment to animals. Meecah has been an animal lover her whole life. This prompted her to become a vegetarian since age 5. She is the proud owner of 7 pets, 3 of them rescues. All this led Meecah to start her personal platform, A.C.T. with Meecah (Animal Cuddles and Treats), in which she donates dog and cat toys and treats and volunteers her time at animal shelters as well as educates others on the importance of fostering and adopting shelter pets. Meecah is honored to be representing USAM in its inaugural year as Pennsylvavia’s Jr. Teen and is excited for the journey ahead!
